This past weekend, I went to Santa Barbara, CA. We had a great time and the weather was nice. I bought a few books from a couple of used bookstores. The first one we went to is called The Book Den. I bought One Thousand and One Nights by Hanan al-Shaykh, Bright Shadow by Avi and The Green Mile (Part 4) by Stephen King. I realized later that The Green Mile is part 4 of a 6 part series. I might buy the other parts online.

The other books I actually bought from $5 or Less Bookstore in Simi Valley. I bought A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle, Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen and Molly’s Story Collection (American Girl).
I’m very excited to read them. What books did you buy or get recently?
Thanks for visiting my blog,
This weekend, I went to Daiso, which is a store that sells most things for a $1.50 and the items are from Japan. They have a lot of cute stuff including these journals. I really like them because they have cute covers, aren’t too thick and the lines inside don’t go all the way to the edge.
I also went to Ross, a discount store that sells clothes and home things. I found these two gems which are dupes to the Moleskine, except that they were $3 each instead of the $20.
I’m very excited to use these eventually when I finish my current personal Moleskine journal.
Thank you for visiting my blog,
I saw this decomposition book at Target and thought it was beautiful so, of course, I had to buy it. I was actually looking for a notebook to write my creative writing in. There is just something about the act of putting pen to paper that I love more than typing away on the computer. I just love the feel of it, I guess. I also love the feeling of finishing a notebook. I get a sense of accomplishment and that shows myself that I can be consistent and persistent.
