October 2016 Reading Wrap Up

In October, I read 5 books which include:

  1. Songs of Willow Frost by Jamie Frost
  2. Fables: The Deluxe Version – Book Three by Bill Willingham
  3. I Am Malala by Malala Yousafzai
  4. Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
  5. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs by Judi Barrett

I enjoyed reading all of them. Songs of Willow Frost by Jaime Frost is a book I actually got from the Dollar Tree for $1.00! I thought it wouldn’t be that good but I actually did like it.

I continued the Fables series with Book Three with a lot of action filled pages till the end. I read I Am Malala for my book club and surprisingly, it was very interesting and eye-opening. I think it is a book that should be on the must-read list in high school in America. I think everyone should read this book.

For Six of Crows, it was hard getting into it in the beginning because it started slow. I actually stop reading it for a bit and thought I’d try again. I forced myself to read the second chapter and I was hooked! I liked the characters and I liked the writing. I can’t wait to continue the story in book 2.

The last book I read in October was Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. I enjoyed the illustration and it was a fun read.
