This week, I finished reading Kit’s Story Collection by Valerie Tripp and Winnie-The-Pooh by A. A. Milne.
Kit’s Story Collection a collection of six books in one book that I found at Goodwill. It is about a girl named Kit, who is a part of American Girl, and what she and her family go through during the Great Depression. I don’t much care for the dolls but I really liked the writing and thought it had a clear and understandable plot, making it enjoyable to read. With this in mind, I think it’s perfect for young, impressionable minds. I’ve read the Molly books when I was younger and enjoyed those as well, so I thought I’d read Kit’s story, too. I might need to do a reread of Molly’s story since it’s been a while.
I also finished reading Winnie-The-Pooh by the original creator, A. A. Milne, before Disney bought the rights. I really enjoyed the language from the start and it was a very fun and funny little book. I highly recommend it for the young and young at heart.
