Go Set A Watchman Book Review

I recently finished reading Go Set A Watchman by Harper Lee. Apparently, it’s not a sequel but a first draft of To Kill A Mockingbird. If you are interested in that, it’s worth a read but as a stand alone novel, the interesting parts came and went. The main focus was on prejudice as in TKAM but in between, stories of Scout’s childhood and teenage years were dispursed. These parts were more interesting to me. Other parts were long and made me lose interest, maybe that’s why it took me 12 days to read it.

Bottom line: If you’re a fan of Harper Lee and TKAM, it’s a good read but otherwise not so much.
